With over 40 years of experience in payroll, HR, and workforce management, Jim Kapolas has built his career helping organizations simplify payroll, strengthen compliance, and improve workforce efficiency through modern HCM solutions.

Jim’s payroll experience began early, working alongside his brother Chris to help restaurant operators navigate payroll, scheduling, and workforce challenges. That firsthand exposure gave him a practical understanding of the operational demands businesses face daily, from payroll accuracy and employee hours to labor compliance.

In the early 1980s, Jim and Chris founded Related Payroll Service (RPS) to support hospitality and service-based businesses with dependable payroll processing. Building on that foundation, they launched Payville USA in 2005, helping clients streamline payroll operations while maintaining the responsive, relationship-driven service that became their hallmark.

As organizations began demanding more integrated payroll, HR, and workforce management solutions, the business evolved in 2019 into Lift HCM. This next chapter expanded their ability to support clients through a modern platform that unifies payroll, HR, benefits, compliance, and workforce management.
